QuickCarton for Illustrator CS3

Installation
|
After expanding the download archive (QCTN_CS3.sit)
- Place the file "QCTN_CS3.aip" in the Illustrator CS3 Plug-ins folder (it's in the Illustrator Application folder).
- Launch Illustrator CS3.
- Open or Create a Document.
- Access QuickCarton under the Objects menu.
- The demo will run in full feature mode for 10 tries. The demo should accurately reflect the performance you can expect with the full featured product.

The QuickCarton Dialog Box
- Select Panel Arrangement, Starting from the Left, with the Length or Width Panel
- Select the Carton Type, Half Slotted Carton (HSC) or Regular Slotted Carton (RSC)
- If Entering Inside Dimensions for C Flute or B/C Doublewall Cartons, Select B/C or C Flute Option
- If Entering Outside Dimensions, Select No Distortion Option
- Select Appropriate Glue Tab Options
- Enter Carton Length, Width and Height Dimensions
- Click the OK Button

Result
- A New Layer Named “QuickCarton Die Layer” Will be Created as Top Layer
- The Carton Die Lines will be Created to Size, Grouped and Stroked as a Spot Color Named “Die Color”
- Registration Marks will be created on the Score Lines
- Graphic Safe Guides will be Created, Inset 1/2” from Score Lines
- A Text Block, Logging Input Values Used will be Created to the left of the Layout
